Aldwick lies on the coast between Bognor Regis and Pagham. The parish includes the areas of Rose Green, Willowhale and Craigwell. King George V spent some months convalescing at Craigwell House in 1929, and because of this, neighbouring Bognor adopted the suffix Regis. The hamlet of Charlton was lost to the sea in the 16th century.
